Printing with Samba

Assuming you have SAMBA set up correctly, here's a quick way to connect to a Windows machine and print something. I use this everyonce in a while to print a postscript document since I have yet to find a way to dump straight binary to a printer from the NT command line.

First you'll need to share the printer out.

$ smbclient \\\\MACHINE_NAME\\printer_share_name -n NT_Username -P -U NT_Username -W DomainName
Added interface ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx bcast=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx nmask=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
