Late Night Conversation

True story: this had to have been the worst pun I’ve heard in years.

I was holding a photography workshop with a friend and we happened to view a picture with red-eye.

This caused me to point out an interesting fact that I had read about: if you ever see a human baby with “white-eye,” get them to a doctor, as that’s a sign of retinal cancer.

As we were quickly going off topic, my friend asked if I had heard that the medical community had discovered that some dogs can actually smell lung cancer on the breath of patients?

I had not heard of such a thing, and my friend was bemused that science is spending tons of money on building a machine to do something that apparently nature can do quite accurately and cheaply. Instead of a CAT scan, you have a …DOG scan.

To which at that point his wife jumped into the conversation, ‘True, but you still have to have a “Lab” Test….’

The room filled with groans. That had to have been one of the worst, but downright clever, puns I’ve heard in years…
