Next Addiction Identified: The Prisoner (1967)

Got a call from Chris Bartley today, who incidently joined us at Kobe for dinner, and he introduced us to the classic series The Prisoner.

Believe it or not, I had never seen it, though I had bits and pieces of rumors to go on.  By two episodes, we were addicted to it.  Looks like Tamara and I have the next half dozen date nights figured out.

LOST

We’ve just finished season one of LOST, should we try Deadwood?

Two friends pointed me to Lost, the television show where a plane crashes on a strange island and strange things start to happen.

My wife and I have been doing date night for the last week and have just torn through Season One.

We’re now stuck. Season two is in progress by about nine episodes, and we’re not sure whether to jump in (so far people say don’t!), snag the missed episodes from iTunes, or wait it out for Season Two.

Gagk! We’re still waiting on Season Two for Carnivale by HBO. Meanwhile, others are trying to hook us into Deadwood.

Each time I think good television is dead, I get a pleasant surprise.
