I’m a fairly big fan of SlashDot for getting my daily dose of geeky news. However, while the site features are great, the news is often a bit slanted, sensationalized, or plain wrong.

I’ve recently learned about another geeky news site called Digg that’s got a really slick, interactive interface. You can either have your hand picked news, or go trolling for stories that haven’t gained that much popularity yet.

As for amusing stories from the news, I like to go to Fark, although they seem to recently have flipped over to a membership version for all the links. Guess I’ll be moving over to 180° News.
